How To Make Money With Twitter

Twitter is a social networking site which allows you just 140 characters in every post (or tweet). And every day some people are using it to help them make money.

 But how do you go about doing this? 

Well whatever you do online you can use Twitter to market yourself. Add your URL to your profile and tell people what you do. Are you a photographer, writer, designer or freelancer of some kind? Announce that fact and you might get people contacting you for work.

You can also use Twitter to link through to your own website or blog. If you write regular posts that in turn link through to your product you can tweet about them to get a bigger readership. Quite often this can be set up to work without your input too; every time you publish a new blog post it will automatically send a tweet to Twitter. 

Another way to get creative is to sell parts of your Twitter background. You can change this to be whatever you want, and there is no reason why you can’t have people pay you to take over and put their ad on a specific part of it. There are lots of ways you can monetize your Twitter account if you choose to do so. But the best method is to try one way at a time so you can monitor the results. You might find one way works better than all the others for you, so you can keep on using it for the long term.
